J.Rock Rocks the House

J.Rock's opening venue went over with relative success. We enjoyed homemade flat bread served with tangy basil & artichoke dip. The dip was so well received that it was completely polished off (along with the bread) even before J.Rock got to sit down and enjoy it himself! Next time he's holding back a secret stash. Several fresh whole artichokes were carefully devoured while waiting for the main course as well. After slaying most of the artichokes, the F44 crew moved on to J.Rock's fusion pad tai. It featured artichoke infused noodles, tasty chicken, fried basil, fresh peppers picked from the evening's centerpiece, and a slightly fiery citrus sauce. The evening's desert fell victim to an impromptu recipe substitution when the intended coconut milk was found to be unusable, so the custard was replace with a quick field trip to the local Ben & Jerry's! Afterwards the F44 crew wandered through the night to the local swing sets, where a good time was had by all!

Let There Be Cheese

Flavor44 is proud to celebrate it's 2nd wildly successful venture! In our second round we enjoyed...

An appetizer of cantaloupe and proscuitto, with an array of cheeses including a French Chaump, an English Wensleydale with Cranberries, and an Italian Teraggio along side bread of rosemary and olive oil and Kalamata Olive.
An entree of chicken with a lemon herb mint parsley sauce that had a bit of kick. An asparagus risotto, and a mixed fancy salad topped with dried cranberries and rasberries, feta, and sliced almonds.
And rounding out dessert was peaches and mascarpone deliciousness.
For drinks we enjoyed the Italian San Pellegrino.
